There is so much to learn as a first time photographer & business owner. There are decisions to be made and situations with no clear indicator of business right or wrong’s. For me, it often felt like I was walking blindly. I was a wandering sheep just craaaving a kind and gentle shepherd to walk me through it, or at least give a Girl some tips!
Looking back I know these are the moments that mold us. They are apart of our life journey and help shape us into who we were created to be. Sometimes things fail and other times they succeed, but we can certainly learn from them all!
I know a lot of starting & running any business is often “trial & error”, you’ve gotta test the waters and most of it is an experiment if we are being totally candid here! But with experience comes responsibility and I believe with every fiber that my responsibility is to share FROM my experience. Sharing what “worked” and what didn’t because if I could save you hours upon hours of trial & money, why wouldn’t I?
I’m a firm believer that there is more then one way of doing things, so don’t by any means think that just because Hannah structures her business this way that is THE WAY it has to be done! no! not one bit. This information is simply to help guide you – test it, apply it or drop it like it’s hot! Either way—no hard feelings here! I’m just sharing personally from a state of what has worked well in my business in hopes of benefiting yours too, sweet friend! I can’t wait to see your soar!!
