The second I arrived at Airlie and stepped into the grooms suite to start photographing the day I immediately felt so at home and welcomed by everyone. I always love getting to spend time with the bridal party but this one in particular was so fun to be around. I shouldn’t be too surprised by this really because Caleb & Danni are incredible so obviously the people in their corner are going to be pretty rad too.
This was my first time shooting at Airlie and my goodness this venue blew me away!!! My grandparents got married at Airlie years ago and as a child I remember seeing their framed portraits all throughout their house — being there felt liked walking into those frames. Sounds kind of silly and perhaps overly sentimental but it just added more depth to this already meaningful day and I just love when our worlds get smaller and things come full circle.
Besides the breathtaking details that Danniele & Caleb incorporated throughout their ceremony and reception what stuck out to me most was how intimate and welcoming their wedding felt. Their community of people to celebrate with and the little moments that meant so much like a first look with the bride & groom and a separate one with their daughter too (I mean…MELT ME😍) or when little Cam helped Danni get ready and took her wedding dress for a spin before the ceremony. Those are the moments that stole my heart and honestly I’m sure are the things they will look back on and remember through these images in the years to come.
Today we are reliving some highlights from their precious day and I am dying to know…which ones are YOUR favorite? scroll through below!
