Bartholdi Park Engagement Session | DC Wedding Photographer
Ohhh this evening! where do I even begin!? Summer has been in full force here in DC and these last couple of weeks have shown no mercy. I’ve traveled to the amazon jungle and don’t remember it being quite this humid *ok sure slight exaggeration* 😂but for real, this season has been a HOT ONE. By God’s grace we ended up with the one evening probably over the last 4 weeks that was low 80’s without rain!! The weather we had for our session was such a sweet treat and coupled with the cutest garden in the city…just straight up charming.
I had such a fun time with Michaiah & Aaron shooting their engagement session! These two are filled with such life and energy and it is absolutely infectious. Just to give you a little taste for their thoughtfulness + generosity: MJ showed up to our session with an iced coffee in hand for me… I mean, can you say girl after my own heart!!!!
Whenever I get the opportunity to hang with my sweet #HSPcouples the highlight for me is always getting to hear their story & learning more about the love that brought us together! As Aaron and MJ began sharing with me how they met and the countless moments that followed, I was in a constant state of picking my jaw up from off the ground. Their precious story is one that is so intricately woven together. The more details you hear the more you’re thinking “wow Jesus is literally in every detail, orchestrating all of this.”
I could probably brag on this kindhearted couple for daysss but i’ll save ya the sap and just get right to the good stuff!!
