Last weeks weather was a beautiful dose of spring here in Virginia and it was fueling this summer girls soul!! 60 & 70 degree temps are my jam and soaking up this sunshine over the past couples of days has been so life giving. On Saturday I met up with Grace & Bailey for their sweetheart session in Georgetown and it couldn’t have been a more perfect day to shoot. I loved getting to spend time with them and create some magic.  They are contagiously cute, fun-loving, and pretty dang fashionable too! 😉 I am still melting over Gracie’s red gown flowing in the sun down by the waterfront.  I can’t wait for you to see all the pretty portraits we captured, but first!!!!

Their story of love told by Gracie:

“We met one weekend when I was visiting my best friend at her college. I remember we started messaging on a Friday night.  By Saturday morning he was already driving a few hours just to grab some coffee with me. I helped him order his first iced white mocha! You can definitely say it was love at first sight because we hit it off right away. We met each other at a perfect time in our lives. This kind of love is everything I had hoped and dreamed for. It just took a little prayer and patience! With Bailey being in the Marine Corps, he has had to go through intensive training. He graduated Officer Candidate School this past summer, and is currently about to finish The Basic School for officers. We just received news that he will be in Japan for three years, so prayers and thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Despite all of these things, I know that our love will stay strong and continue to grow.”
