Manassas engagement session | virginia wedding photographer

We are 2/2 in this new decade for shoots falling on a  “unusually warm winter day” and I am JUST FINE with it!!!  😉

Collin and Brittany met me at Historic Manassas Battlefield for their engagement session and that Saturday could not have been any more lovely.  It was a spring time type of warm and absolutely refreshing for the soul. The weather, the people, the entire vibe. I loved spending time getting to know these two better and creating portraits that reflect their relationship and their story uniquely. I love asking intentional questions to my #HSPcouples and getting to hear their heartfelt responses. I asked them:

“What do you want to remember about your relationship right NOW in 20 years?”

Collin: How unconditionally loved she makes me feel

Brittany: how safe and loved I feel with him

I love how genuine their responses were, and how you can feel the depth of those answers portrayed through their gallery of portraits here. Counting down the days until their 2020 wedding where I get to celebrate their sweet love all over again!!!

a’www

I’m a big encourager of incorporating any props/snack /fun details my couples love into their session – so when Brittany and Collin mentioned they LOVE sour gummy worms, having a little battlefield picnic felt like a no-brainer!!

They asked if we could do a “sock shot” and how could I turn that down?!  so fun

Xoxo,

Hannah
