I’ll never forget the email I first received from Carianne. It was the kindest wedding inquiry and the kind you just *know* is a match from the get-go. She just got me. Her and Reid’s vision for their wedding day and what they were looking for in their photographer were values of the wedding experience we absolutely shared. I was so excited to write her back!!
Here’s what she said: “When we toured early mountain vineyard, we both just felt a sense of warmth and intimacy and fell in love. we want our photographer to capture all the raw emotions and moments of the day so we can cherish them forever. we don’t want our photographer to just show up and take pictures – we want our photographer to be a part of our big day and be a part of the memories. i was a bridesmaid in Caroline & Matt’s wedding and absolutely fell in love with you, your vibrant spirit, and beautiful work. you have a way of capturing the authentic moments…you make your work seem effortless and second nature. that is exactly what we want on our wedding day.”
I think one of the sweetest gifts of being a wedding photographer has been my bride community. They are total sunshine souls and getting to work alongside my tribe is a gift a i’m grateful for. I love that last September I met Carianne as a bridesmaid and now I get to celebrate her as a bride! 🤍 there’s something so special about that full circle.
I’m so excited to share Reid and Carianne’s precious engagement in the Shenandoah mountains with you! it was such a gorgeous evening spending time with these two and their sweet pup little Maverick 😍
