Coffee + Metro Station Date Night

Patrick and Jen traveled from Richmond for their session to meet me at a local Coffee/Gelato shop here in Reston called Pitango. It was the perfect spot to start off their date night session. I had such a great time running around with these two, capturing some cozy coffeeshop + rooftop portraits and exploring a new spot that I’ve never photographed before. Jen & Patrick have such a great vibe, which shows itself in their rad personalities and personal style.

inspiration that came for our shooting location:

I was driving home one night in the beginning of June when I saw this metro bridge overlooking the toll road. It’s something I’ve passed by dozens of times before realizing it’s beauty but on that particular drive it grabbed me in some kind of way. I haven’t stopped dreaming about shooting there at Golden Hour all s u m m e r & this month Patrick and Jen made those metro sunset dreams come true. They were complete champs at their session just rocking it out, being their fun-loving precious selves regardless of the multitudes of people walking by🙃and how many people can say we finished the evening by standing on top of traffic at sunset?? Just your average #HSPcouple adventure !!! Enjoy a handful of favorites from our sweet time together!
