Engagement Session

James + Lauren | Smith Pond Engagement Session

November 15, 2016

Smith Pond has been the hot spot for shoots this season and I am starting to see why! We all love it here. The way the fall foliage frames the pond, all the rustic feels and our country style home–there is so much variety to choose from for your session. I was hesitant to offer this at first. I wasn’t sure if my clients would love it as much as I do, but seriously–from one rustic lover to the next, what is not to love? For me, the most important thing when my couples walk into their shoot is that they feel at home, comfortable, and showered with loved! I figure if they can feel at home in MY actual home…I’m doing something right! And it turns out it was the PERFECT spot for James and Lauren’s E-shoot!!

A little backstory: James and my older brother Jesse went to high school together and were actually college roommates! so when I got an email from James and Lauren asking me to photograph their wedding day I couldn’t contain my excited!! July couldn’t come soon enough!

Take a peek and see what all the hype is about >>

Some serious leather jacket envy. Lauren’s outfit couldn’t have been more on point
