The first senior experience of spring 2019 and it just so happened to be on the most beautiful weekend we have had yet! Sunny + 70, you know the kind that makes you sound like a broken record with all of the “can you believe this weather we are having??” comments back and forth. THE BEST.
I brought my sister Rebekah along to this session to explore beforehand (#coffeepartnerincrime), and Mia’s mom came along too! so basically we had a little fan club audience behind the scenes of this shoot and it was my favorite thing. I loved spending time with Mia during her session and roaming around charming old town Alexandria <3
During our outfit change break Mia’s mom shared “We saw your work when you photographed Mia’s friend senior portraits a few years back and Mia knew right away that she wanted YOU” –> *insert me at a loss for words*
Such an honor and sweet encouragement to get to work with client’s that believe in this experience an are equally as excited about it as I am !! My sister and I left our session that evening feeling so blessed their company and honestly just wanting to be best friends with Mia and her mom (hahah) but honestly if you spent an hour with them too you would feel just the same!!
enjoy some pretty spring portraits of the ever so kind + creative + lovely Mia! and her infectiously sweet smile 😉
