If I could only shoot at one beach in San Clemente it would have to be Calafia. With the variety of beach, beach trail, and that epic rock wall it’s really such an incredible location for portrait sessions and offers all the variety you could dream of, shown off in this Calafia Beach engagement gallery! 🙌🏻

It has rained nonstop for the past month and I’ve started to wonder if I’m in Southern California or Seattle?! I’ve lived here a year and it’s rained more in the past couple weeks then in the last 12 months. The sun came out to play just in time for Casmir and Matthew’s Calafia Beach engagement shoot. Running around in the golden glow hit different this evening. ✨ Felt like magic dancing around the beach with these sweetie souls!

The sunset this evening was the softest pink. It felt like a hug from creation after so many overcast rainy days.

Casmir and Matthew did their secret handshake that surpasses the greatness of the Annie and Martin parent trap handshake (the real ones will know😉). It was honestly the best thing ever!! I’m still smiling just thinking about it.
