For this shoot, we woke up at the crack of dawn to catch the Oceanside Pier at sunrise. Listen, for a girl who LOVES her sleep (like a lot a lot a lot✨), hanging with these two made the brutal 4AM wake up call worth it. 🙌🏻💃

There’s been a natural shift in my work over the last year. I haven’t intentionally tried to change up my style or process to creating portraits in general, but when my perspective changed my approach followed suit. It’s been a series of subtle tweaks here and there over this last year that have made a gradual impact. I’d say the biggest change has been simplifying more of my process. Trusting my gut and creating from a perspective of storytelling and, as a result, creating rich-in-emotion portraits that make you feel and feel like you! The work I’m most proud of is the type you don’t assign words to, you simply bottle up the moment. My heart is to document in a more honest way that speaks right to your soul. Photos that invite you back to that moment in time. That’s the good stuff that’s been resonating with me lately and I hope it resonates with you too. I’m stoked to share more of it in this space. 🤟🏻
