It all started with a Pit bull..
Chase and Libby’s story began in the summer of 2013, when Chase had recently adopted a puppy named Brody from Libby’s friend, Karen. Little did he know that Karen and Libby had been talking about him (and Facebook stalking him) ever since he got that dog. After some prodding by Karen on both sides they finally got in touch over Facebook. They planned to meet up at a local dog park with Karen to chaperon. After the meet-up they decided to go on a more formal date the next evening. Uno’s & a movie it was! The two of them talked for hours in the parking lot after the movie…this was the start of a beautiful relationship. Over the past few years Chase and Libby have bonded over their passion for animals, sense of humor, and their love of food. All the best things, amiright??
The second I met these two for their engagement session I knew I wanted to be apart of their fan club. LIKE, FOR REAL. These are my people. They are kind and compassionate, playful and witty, caring and thoughtful. One small example of their selflessness would be: when they gave ME a gift on THEIR wedding day.. and not just ANY gift, might I add, but a pair of LuLaRoe camera print leggings that Chase picked out himself! Like what!? still fighting back the joyful tears because oh my goodness how did I get so lucky to work with couples like these? completely spoiled by God’s goodness.
This wedding day goes down as one my favorite ones thus far because:
1. I got to serve two beautiful souls whom I adore so stinkin’ much!!!
2. Belmont Manor is utterly breathtaking and I wouldn’t be mad if every wedding day took place there 😉
3. A rockstar team of vendor..seriously, like none other! so blessed by them.
Libby & Chase have impeccable style and their wedding reflected that so well.. just ask my second shooter Ashley, I was swooning over every last detail. There were countless moments during the day where Libby would check in on me like, ” are you having a good time? did you get something to eat? Have fun, enjoy your self!” and I couldn’t help but think “This is her wedding day and she is checking in on me? wow, these two are something special.” The amazing friends and family alone where a testimony to Chase & Libby’s character, you simply just want to be around people like them because they are something extraordinary!
It was truly a fairy tale wedding.
