To the planning Bride that feels like she has both “too many details” and “too little time to manage”. I’ve worked enough weddings to know that the days can be stressful, the details can be many, and the to-do’s? well, they can feel as if their never-ending. But what if they didn’t have to be?
I’m all about sharing from my experiences in hopes that you can avoid some of the obstacles I’ve had to face along the way. There is obviously a lot of tips I could share in regards to your wedding day, but I wanted to break it down and address them one by one, because what bride can squeeze in a lengthy blog post in the midst of that ever growing list we can’t stop thinking about??
One simple fix that will always always always take your bridal portraits from ordinary to luxury in the snap of a finger: Custom Hangers.
To some of you, this may seem like a no-brainer, but you would be surprised by the ratio of weddings that utilize this to weddings that don’t. My heart would break a little each time I would show up to the bridal suite to document a gorgeous wedding gown only to see that the hanger is either plastic, or worse..a cardboard body mold!
Now, I don’t want to come across as a negative nelly or make you spend a dime more on something that is of no true value to your day. But I’ve come to realize that by NOT sharing this, I am actually doing you a greater disservice! Odds are: no one has ever told you this before. This is completely new news to you and who would have guessed that a hanger of ALL things would be anything more then a cute accessory!? If I didn’t do this for a living, I would absolutely be right there with you, friend! However, over the years i’ve noticed that these hangers don’t only support your dress better, but also present your Wedding gown ($$$) in a more elegant way, and the good news is they’re not expensive either!!
