Mikayla & Herman…Their story is such a rewarding one. If you haven’t already *pause* and go read it > HERE

It tells of God’s intricate plan and purposeful timing.  It’s a story that makes me smile no matter how many times I’ve heard it, because the ending is oh so sweet! and just speaks of the goodness of our heavenly father.

During the ceremony Tina (mother of the bride) sang “For The One” by Jenn Johnson, which just so happens to be one of my favorites. It’s wild to me because earlier that morning I had these lyrics circling through my head:

“help me to love with open arms, like You do
A love that erases all the lines, and sees the truth
Oh, that when they look in my eyes, they would see You
Even in just a smile; they would feel the Father’s love”

Their wedding day told of who their father was, and the wonder of his never ending love. You know the saying “love is in the air”? well I could actually feel the love of the father filling the air that day.

In his presence is fullness of joy and when I am around Herman & Mikayla I feel his presence and I experience that joy. I have been so richly blessed getting to know these two more over the last few months and I will never forget the overwhelming beauty that their day held (seriously now…can we do your wedding all over again?😂)

Y’ALL ARE SO LOVED.

Okayyy, now the photo’s we have all been waiting for

Disclaimer: this is the type of wedding that may have you questioning “HOW ON EARTH was it was even real?!” because it all felt too dreamy for life! lol I honestly felt like I was photographing a celebrity wedding, like, hello E news! this should be front and center <3

Mikayla & Herman>>

in looove with Mikayla’s dress and those sleeves !!

These are so much more than just pretty photos to me. One of my favorite things to capture on a wedding day are those “in-between” moments where the bride & her girls thank God. For this day. For the journey. For his faithfulness.

When I see this photo I remember the very words that left Mrs. Mulgrew’s mouth and the way the presence of the holy spirit filled that space. Such a special moment.

wow chills every. time. !!    One very loved baby girl!!! I *joked* I was going to finish their gallery and it would be all just portraits of zoe, but for real I took sooo many of this little sweet thang…can you even blame me?! I mean that face!

not even sure if you’re ready for the most precious first look ever…

can I frame this or is that a little too over the top?!

Mikayla’s bridesmaids surprised her with these Converse and it was just the cutest reveal <3
