They got engaged on a pier in Tampa and moved to Alexandria so we thought it was only fitting to have their engagement portraits in old town. We planned in advance scheduling our shoot to *hopefully* align with the cherry blossom trees. If you’re from the dmv you know this is almost impossible to plan for with how much the unpredictable weather plays a role.

Between both of our calendars we had one date available to make this happen so when I rolled into old town the day of and saw BIG fluffy blossom trees lining the main street we met on I was practically dancing with excitement! Although they were calling for 20+ mph winds the weather couldn’t have been MORE perfect (and opposite of the forecast) filled with rays of sunshine and warmth! Getting to roam around these charming old town streets with Colin and Kassidy for their shoot was a complete and utter joy. They are a sweet blend of fun energy and refreshingly themselves which I always appreciate.
