I send over in-depth questionnaires upon booking each senior session to help me get to know my seniors a little more prior to working together. It helps me have a better taste for their personal style + vision for the experience, which also allows me to hand-pick a location that truly compliments them! I remember reading through Macie’s answers like, ” wow, I already LOVE this girl! could we have any more in common?”
Truth is, she is just one of a kind. Macie is kindhearted, fun-loving, playful and a extremely talented dancer among other things. I loved getting the opportunity to know & hear more of her story and spend time with Macie and her sweet sweet mom!
Side note: we shot this session in 90 degree heat with humidity and you would NEVER be able to tell! Girlfriend totally rocked it out and quite frankly I am just extra thankful this session wasn’t for ME…because well… I was a swimming in a puddle of sweat. haha! (you’re welcome for that visual)

Macie’s mom came along for her session and I just had to snap a few shots of them! we had such a fun time together and she was just the best offering to help me carry around gear and hold up my reflector – we joked I was going to hire her as my assistant because she really was so great (but honestly, That would be a dream) 😉
