La Jolla Wedding Photographer | Intimate Cliffside Wedding Day

Carly and Zack’s San Diego wedding at the Martin Johnson house in La Jolla was rich in intentionality. It was a day centered around the warm love that brought these two together and the precious community of people in their corner. This day honestly felt like one BIG hug and the love Zack and Carly have for their people is so dang special.

If you’re newly engaged and in the midst of wedding planning, wondering if it’s even possible to cultivate an experience on your wedding day that is joy-filled + centered around being present with your best friend? I promise you it *IS* possible and this day is living proof.

There will be a lot of advice given to you. Some good, some not so good. But your day is 100% what you make it. The best advice I could give is to lean into what’s most valuable to y’all as a couple and the way you want to feel. Say “yes” to anything that aligns with that vision and leave the rest behind. The couples who hone in on what matters most to them and centers their day around that always end up being more present and have the sweetest celebration. every. time.

This La Jolla wedding day will always hold a special place in my heart. I was hired to document their love story but ended the day with so much more than a camera full of special moments, rather a genuine friendship with these sunshine souls.
