I’ve started sounding like a broken record to my assistant at the last couple of weddings with an absurd amount of “I just can’t get over___” statements in regards to how smoothly these wedding days have been flowing!?😂 They REALLY HAVE been unlike anything I’ve experienced before. It just feels like there has been an abundance of ‘more then enough’ – more then enough time, more then enough joy, more then enough peace, more then enough sunshine…I could go on!

As I’ve been reflecting on it lately, trying to pick up on common themes these weddings may have shared or what made them so different, here is what I noticed:

If there is any silver-lining to 2020 and the COVID wedding season, my couples have really honed in on what they value most! On what they want their day to be about because theres not as much pressure to choose things that don’t reflect you as a couple just to keep up with the trends of the wedding industry. Without that pressure, I have noticed a sureness and a joy and an authentic representation of who my Bride and Grooms are woven into the fabric of their day and it has fanned the flame for why I love capturing love stories and serving my couples all the more!!

Jacob and Erin’s wedding was one that will be hard to forget. A warm August day at Sylvanside Farms in Purcellville, Virginia and it was every kind of charming. These cuties share a gentle kindness paired with their fun-loving spirits that is just so precious to encounter. I loved every minute celebrating them alongside their closest family + friends !!!
