Culpeper Engagement Session | Virginia Wedding Photographer
We met in Culpepper at Carly’s aunts house to photograph their engagement session. As we were cruising down those country roads with the golden light peeking through the rolling hills, I knew we were in for some serious portrait magic. My sweet friend Cassie traveled with me for this out of town shoot and we were high-pitched squealing at the pretty fall foliage the entire 20 minutes down the old country road that leads to Carly’s aunt’s house. When we pulled up the driveway we were greeted at our car by a flock of chickens. Yes, you heard right: CHICKENS. a session-greeting “first” for me (LOL)
Carly and MJ have a sweet and gentle “go with flow” type of disposition. They went along with my silly requests with no questions asked pretending like it was all perfectly normal (love you guys) and they really just made the most of their sweet time together! I love when my couples feel like I’m not even there & they’re able to feel comfortable and be themselves and just have a good time together. The best compliment I receive from my couples is when I get text messages from them on the way home from our session or after delivering a gallery like “Hannah, we had the best time and felt so comfortable” or “my fiancé just said that was so fun and he can’t wait to do this again at the wedding and he doesn’t even like having his photos taken.” Music to my ears, every single time.
So excited to show off these two & all the glowy fall goodness >>
