Georgetown DC Spring Engagement
Woah, has it been a minute since I’ve last published to the blog! I’ve missed this space so much. Truthfully I had the intentions of getting this post up and running WEEKS AGO, but as you can imagine this last month has been a whirlwind that caught us all by surprise. February begin a month full of travel for brand projects, college senior portraits and adventurous couples sessions – SO many fun things that I love!! my spring schedule was just starting to ramp up and I was preparing to embark on a busy wedding season ahead when COVID-19 started to effect Northern Virginia in the beginning of March.
This was my last engagement session before the outbreak and it truly was one of the most special days! I’m so grateful this session was able to happen because it left me with so much sunshine to take home in the midst of this shooting drought we’ve been in. Tessa and Caleb have been dating since high school!! Fun fact: She’s a long time family friend of ours and Caleb also attended the photo bootcamp last fall where he shared with the group his grand proposal plans, so naturally we were next-level excited to hear how it all came together!!!
When they asked me to be their wedding photographer I was honored and beyond excited! Caleb and Tessa share a mutual love for a sweet light and airy aesthetic, so dreaming together with them and creating these sunshine story portraits was all the more special🤍
Enjoy some of my favs! I’m practically counting down the days until their sweet 2021 celebration!!!
The love birds>
