Summer Sweetheart Session, Ida Lee Park Leesburg
Rachel sent me an email this past fall sharing her heart for a” just because” portrait session to document this chapter of her and Jacobs relationship in the sweet town they’re living in. Naturally, I loved this idea and couldn’t have been more excited to email her back to learn more about her vision!
I love any excuse to celebrate and don’t believe in waiting for specific ‘milestone markers’ in life to happen for you to celebrate the good things you have got around you! The season you’re in right now is worthy of being remembered! don’t forget that🤍
The four of us met at Ida Lee Park in Leesburg. It was a beautiful summer evening that felt a little more like spring…aka the one day Virginia had low-humidity🙌🏻 between Rachel, Jacob, Beau & I, there was no shortage of smiles!

it dawned on me here that some words you will ONLY ever hear leave the mouth of a photographer 🤣 for example: right before this photo was taken, I said to Rachel and Jacob “so now I’m going to have you rock back & forth by the oregano plant. perfect 👌 and while you’re at it take turns whispering in each others ear your dream taco order”…anything for the shot am I right??
